H3C無線控製器WX5510E、WX5540E及LSUM1WCME0、EWPXM1WCME0插卡支持Comware V5和Comware V7操作係統，可以直接在設備上進行軟件升級，將Comware V5操作係統升級為Comware V7操作係統。本手冊以WX5540E為例介紹Comware V5操作係統到Comware V7操作係統的升級操作。
Comware V5版本升級到Comware V7需要升級BootWare，因此升級時要使用本地登錄，即需要通過串口線連接設備上的Console口。
Comware V5的軟件包隻有一個“.bin”文件，但是Comware V7的軟件包包括兩個“.bin”文件和一個“.ipe”文件：
· Boot程序（.bin文件）：包含了Linux操作係統的內核，可以提供進程管理、內存管理、文件係統管理和應急shell。格式為“XXXX-cmw710-boot-XXXXX.bin”，例如：wx5540e-cmw710-boot-a5101p02.bin。
· System程序（.bin文件）：包含了設備操作和網絡業務相關的模塊，包括設備管理、接口管理、配置管理和路由。格式為“XXXX-cmw710-system-XXXXX.bin”，例如：wx5540e-cmw710-system-a5101p02.bin。
· IPE文件：Comware V7的軟件包在實際發布的時候，會把boot程序和system程序文件打包成一個IPE文件。格式為“XXXX.ipe”，例如：wx5540e.ipe。
Comware V5/V7的BootWare文件也隨著軟件包一起發布，用戶可以到H3C網站（//www.yolosolive.com/cn/）獲取設備對應的軟件版本及BootWare文件。
· Comware V7部分特性相比Comware V5更新了命令行，因此Comware V5的配置文件不能直接在Comware V7中使用，在升級之前可以手動將Comware V5的配置文件刷新成Comware V7的配置文件。
· Comware V7隻能注冊Comware V7的AP，不支持注冊僅支持Comware V5的AP，可以在目標Comware V7版本說明書中進行確認。
· Comware V5版本升級到Comware V7需要重啟設備，在重啟過程完成前，設備的各項業務功能將不可用。
· 升級期間確保設備供電正常，待升級的Comware V7 BootWare文件和軟件版本與設備機型正確匹配。
· 使用不同的Comware V5和Comware V7軟件版本進行升級操作時顯示信息會略有不同，請以實際情況為準。
在Comware V5版本升級到Comware V7前，請完成如下準備工作：
(1) 使用以太網線纜連接PC與設備側的管理接口，並配置設備與文件服務器路由可達。
(2) 開啟文件服務器的TFTP/FTP Server功能。
(3) 使用配置電纜連接PC與設備側的Console口，通過配置終端登錄到設備的命令行配置界麵中。
(4) 將設備的升級啟動文件拷貝到文件服務器上，並正確設置TFTP/FTP Server的訪問路徑。

Comware V5版本升級到Comware V7流程如圖2-2所示。
· 升級前請確保已做好升級前的準備工作。
· 當待升級設備由Comware V5升級為Comware V7操作係統時，配置文件將自動清空，請備份當前版本對應的配置文件，等係統升級後根據備份文件重新進行配置。
(1) 將Comware V5上當前運行的配置保存至設備存儲介質。

(2) 將配置文件備份到PC（IP地址：192.168.100.14）上。
