IRF端口的連接是基於IRF物理端口的連接而建立的,因此需要將IRF端口和IRF物理端口對應起來,即將IRF端口和IRF物理端口進行綁定。一個IRF端口可以對應一個IRF物理端口,也可以通過對應多個IRF物理端口來實現聚合IRF端口,以達到鏈路備份和擴展帶寬的效果。
在S5500-HI-D係列交換機上進行IRF端口和IRF物理端口的綁定時,需要注意不同機型對於綁定關係的限製。

在S5500-HI-D係列交換機中,S5500-52SC-HI-D和S5500-28SC-HI-D交換機最多支持將2個IRF物理端口與同一個IRF端口進行綁定,其它機型最多支持將3個IRF物理端口與同一個IRF端口進行綁定。
